I spent pretty much all my free time reading Wolves of the Calla, the fifth (I think) book in the Dark Tower Series. I've got less than 100 pages left. Hopefully, I'll have it finished soon, considering the series apparently was finished (and released) while I was on reading hiatus.

Zombies

I keep having dreams that there are zombies (several to quite a few depending on which dream) in my vicinity in the dream. I've not watched any zombie movies in ages. I've had these kinds of dreams for the past 2 weeks, probably 8 total. Shaun of the Dead is coming out soon and I want to see it, so that might be why. But I don't know why I would dream about a movie that I've seen the trailer of on several occasions. Odd.

We got the house we wanted. It's less than a mile from my job, so I'll get to walk to work when I want to. Woo-hoo.

So we looked at this house yesterday. We're pretty much set on it. 2 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, living room, patio, grass. It's pretty nice. And it is walking distance (lass than a mile) from my work, which is nice.

I'm at work. Started today. I'm getting my PC set up. I've got a 19 inch flat screen and a 2 GHz Pentium-something-or-other w/ 512 MB RAM and 80 gig HD. Now, I just have to get used to this funky keyboard layout and this MS wireless mouse...

Kassi said she had to go to bed by 12 because she had to work in the morning. So, about 6:00, we started drinking. I finished what was left of my Blavod and Fris while she finished her Smirnoff while we watched Cruel Intentions. We then attempted to down more of the disgusting brew that is Vampyre Vodka.

Working My Ass Off

I turned in the flyer for Club Trinity and a business card (that is probably for an escort service) today. That should pay. I'll be posting the flyer tomorrow or the next day on my portfolio. I might wait until i can see the actual product. I got the Buccweet cover back today, and it looks alright. The guys hands on the front have a slightly green tint to them. Not to mention the cropping is a little off. It shows too much of the bleed. More than I thought it would. But no worries. It looks pretty good. Did I mention I heard a Buccweet track at a club? It actually sounded really good.

Well, Larry, the guy who runs the company that I got the work from, loved the CD covers. So, here is a low-res, compressed version of the cover for your viewing pleasure. The black border is a crop/bleed area, so it won't appear on the actual CD. And the 300 DPI will print the text much clearer...
Church and Party

Well, I went to church today, even though sleep seemed more important. Allegedly, Tammy Faye Baker and Dottie Rambo were going to be at our little Gateway City Church Gateway God Church. Tammy (as in Bellisle) was really pumped to see Tammy Faye for some reason. I personally think she's wacko. But, hey, how many times is Tammy Faye Baker walking distance from where you live, free to the public? Not often.

This portfolio site is a real bitch. I think it largely has to do with the fact that my computer is on a 2.5 foot high dresser, my keyboard is on the corner of an open drawer, my mouse is on a shoe box, and my ass is sitting hunkered over (cross-legged!) on the floor. My knees are breaking and my back is cramping and my neck is sore. I neeeeeeed to get a damn table and a chair.
