How It Came To Be

I met Dave Sunde at a weekly discussion group he started called God Who?. After forming a friendship, I ventured into the youth group that he led as young adult minister at a local church. Eventually, he commissioned me to create a website for the group.

Development Notes

We knew we wanted to create something more spiritual that typical websites. I used a minimalist design to present the information. Using Flash, I was able to integrate music from Andy Zipf to drive the spiritual vibe home.

This was a technically challenging project, since I wanted all the menus on the site to be dynamic in the event that I couldn't keep the site up. Not only that, I wanted the output to be dynamic. I came up with some clever ways of doing this using XML in Flash.

Where To See It

This site utilized ASP. In order to get a working version up, I have to port the site to PHP. I have not yet done this. For the time being, I have included a screenshot.
