How It Came To Be

Dale Campbell started the ice ramps project to bring to life something that was on the tip of everyone's tongue that worked at Ramp & Speed: bring aggressive inline skating to the ice rink. I was the web designer at Ramp & Speed from the time the park opened until I left for California. Combine that with being good good friends with Dale, I naturally picked up the site (pro bono, of course).

Development Notes

I developed Ice Ramps at the same time as Robertdot 8.0 (the site you are looking at). So, the code base is pretty much duplicated. It uses PHP, mySQL, HTML 4, CSS, and Javascript. All the graphics were created in Adobe Photoshop.

Where To See It

I keep a local snapshot (if prompted for a login, the username and password is guest without the quotes). Currently, the site can be seen live and in action at the Official Ice Ramps Web Site.
