I've been working on the registration part of the new robertdot.org today. Once I get that written, I'll be a step away from a login. Then I'll be a step away from being ready to start the next portion...

It's nice to come clean. The boss man asked me to come have a palaver about "how I'm doing." At first I was hesitant, because saying what I really felt might end in an early parting of ways, since I had planned on leaving sometime after January if everything goes well. So, I kinda dodged around until I was directly asked. At that point, I told him I didn't know how long I'd be around, so I didn't want to take on a really big and convoluted job that would overwhelm whoever ended up replacing me.

Apple unleashed the upgrades to the PowerMac G5s today. It is a mere 19 days to WWDC. I wonder why they didn't wait? Usually, they pull big things out on WWDC, not just a demo of the new OS. Maybe the OS is spectacular? Maybe it will cook waffles for me in the morning.

Back to work. What a drag. I'm already looking forward to 4th of July. At least until then the parents are gone. That should offer some freedom (and some consequence). I need to get more sleep.

I had a dream last night that Alex knocked up some black haired Russian chick. He lived in Tuscaloosa. We had gone to Vision Land the night day before, then got woken up in the middle of the night by his pregnant girlfriend saying (in a thick and bitchy Russian accent) that she needed to go to the hospital. Flustered, Alex was being particularly non-helpful. He gave me the keys to his (Law & Order:) SUV and told me to drive. As we pulled out of the driveway, Alex said, So, I guess this is the wedding day? and the Russian girl said, Yep.

After a fairly eventful weekend wrapped up, I come back to work with the knowledge I forgot to call a client for a tech support thing I am supposed to do today. She is a (crazy, apparently) housewife, so I should be able to go any time. But what time do housewives wake up? I guess I'll wait until 9:30 to call or ask someone.
