When I posted this, I was listening to: Marilyn Manson - Putting Holes In Happiness
It's been awhile. A lot has changed since I last posted. I figured I owed everyone an update.
As of June 15th or so, I'm officially an Alabama resident. For those that I haven't told (and haven't read my About Me in awhile), I realized I missed my friends and family enough to move home.
I kept quiet about my move because I wanted to surprise everyone. I don't think it really worked. So, if you didn't hear that I'm back, sorry about that. I meant to tell everyone, but I kinda got side tracked.
I officially started working at 9th Street Creative, a web design company based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I accepted a job as a PHP developer. As usual, I'm doing other things as well. The beauty of this job is that I telecommute. That means I can roll out of bed at 9:00 and start hacking code in my underwear. I drive down to Tuscaloosa on Mondays for meetings, but it's a small price to pay to have complete control of how and when I work.
Other than that, I've been trying to get back into shape (except last week, when I was sick) and hanging out with friends. I feel a lot better about where I am mentally, and I'm generally glad to be in a place where it rains.
So, that's the update. At the moment, I'm aspiring to write on this site more often, and maybe set up another blog for personal stuff. We'll see how that goes, though.
