The New Robertdot And Driving

When I posted this, I was listening to: H.I.M. - Sacrament

Tammy and I have a new weekend ritual. Basically, Tammy goes out Friday night, parties, and leaves her car somewhere and catches a ride home with someone sober. Saturday, whenever I wake up, she takes me to lunch then we go pick up her car. Last week it was in Hermosa Beach, which was a bit of a drive. This time it was in Hollywood, which wasn't so bad.

Friday, I finished putting the somethingHollow Deep Forum into the database. I was talking to Stephen on AIM. For some reason, I ended up looking for some audio file that I used to have of him leaving a message on my answering machine. I found it. I also found out that I didn't delete all my old databases. That means I can automate the rest of this database adding crap. The only problem is that they are Access files. So, I have to export them when I get to work.

After I got the stuff added, I coded a bunch of features. I'm fond of this new code base because it's well coded and I can reuse a lot of it.

Tonight, I coded some more. I also went for a drive. This chunk of Mulholland Hwy is really fun. It'd probably be more fun in the day light. It was nice to get away from the city lights. I want to move to that area. That'd be nice.

I was talking to Kat on AIM Friday while I was out of work early. I was telling her about putting the old posts into the database. She said something about, You don't make posts like those anymore.

When I get done with this revision, I'm going to start doing posts with more substance. Since I have a tagging system, I can classify posts as personal, or tech, or whatever. So, expect that.

I really don't have anything to say, but some people I know like it when I post, even if I don't really have anything to say.

This post can also be discussed on MySpace.
