The following is an advertisement.
When I posted this, I was listening to: Tori Amos - Strange Little Girl
I'm about to put my front license plate back on my car. Once again, that means I'm going to LAX. This time, I'm picking Tammy up.
Last night I went to a party with Caroline. I actually had a really good time. I think it's the first party I've been to since I got to L.A. that I didn't feel alienated or alienate myself. Everyone was social and approachable.
I slept in today until Tammy called to get her confirmation number. Eventually, it came to light that the scheduled flights were canceled and she was assigned a new flight. However, on the new itinerary her connecting flight from Houston to LAX was to take off Tomorrow. Her flight from Birmingham to Houston was to take of two days from now. Unless time travel is possible, taking this flight was not possible. So, she had to get her flight changed. Fortunately, they put her on another flight.
I spent the vast majority of the day completing a theme for my MySpace profile. If you know what you are looking at and you've looked, MySpace uses a very bad mish-mash of HTML 3 and 4. There aren't a lot of class and id tags to use. So, to theme it, you have to use tons of CSS child selectors with attribute selectors. That means it won't work in IE. Go figure. Anyway, crack open FireFox or Safari. I think it's pretty cool.
If you are brave and want a really custom theme, you can view source on my MySpace profile and find the style tag in my about me
section. It's about 30 kilobytes worth of CSS to go on top of the 80 kilobytes of their HTML.
